Hey O!!!

First off, I hope that all of you had great holidays whenever and whatever you may have celebrated. Happy New Year and I hope that everyone is looking forward to 2008 as much as the gang and I are! I have had one of the most memorable holiday seasons ever! That being said, I must admit, I really miss being on the road and playing for all you incredible people! With around 100 shows played last year, there did come a point where I was physically exhausted and needed to get home and see my family but now I need to get back to work. I yearn to get back on the stage, all the pre-show preparation and the post-show relaxation. Even with such a busy schedule and all the traveling that we do on any given tour “at the end of the day”, as they say, the rush and all the excitement is worth any of the exhaustion.

So, now, after all that time off, we are going back on the road!! March and April are going to be the official kick-off to our year, which, if you know me at all, I am looking forward to this more so than any other year prior!

That's not all though, now comes my most exciting news of '08! If you haven't heard yet, we have the new album NEAR COMPLETE! In the next couple months we are expecting the release of our first single which we (all whom have been a part of this recording process) will be keeping our collective fingers crossed that radio and YOU FANS will like this song enough to get me my first NUMBER ONE single in Canada!

I think the song will speak for itself but if you want my honest opinion of the songs on this record then I could only give one answer; “it's the best album that I have recorded yet”. I really feel that the new album has the best songs that I have co-written and recorded. There are songs on this album that are top 40 country, edgy country and a new form of my own country that might just add a few new fans to the country music crowds at the shows and listening to country radio! So, nonetheless, I am really, really excited for the release!

So, since the new album is on the way so to is the new, and improved, show! We've changed things up a bit when it comes to the new show obviously because of the new songs! This is what we in the biz call “turning it up a notch… or 7”! No matter where we are, no matter what size crowd, no matter whatever else is going on off stage, the show is going to be an experience you WON’T want to miss!! All I can say is, LET’S GET ROWDY!!!
